Bangalore’s Victoria hospital near city market is over a century old. A few years ago, strange happenings were reported at the hospital morgue. People spoke of a ghost dressed in white haunting a tree on the premises. This tortured spirit however had more important things to do than terrorizing accident victims – namely eating and drinking. The ghost was rumored to steal Biryani packets from under the tree and wash it down with tea from the student’s canteen area.
The old hospital has its own story to tell. The hospital where many of the patients have died is known for paranormal activities. However, there is one part of the story that is more of hilarious than scary. The more than 100 years old hospital is said to be haunted by a woman in a white dress who is often referred as a hungry ghost. The food items in the hospital campus get mysteriously vanished. The woman has also been spotted many times by the people.This definitely is one of the most unusual, interesting ghosts you would have ever heard about- a hungry one! The apparition is rather famous among the hospital staff as a food stealer and is believed to do away with any edible item kept near the trees in the hospital premises. While the bizarre claim remains polemic, a number of people are said to have witnessed the silhouette of an unnatural form lurking within the hospital, and crying and screaming at random intervals. It is believed that a woman had died at the hospital a little while back, and has been haunting the edifice ever since.

Greater Kailash haunted house, New Delhi

House No. W-3, Greater Kailash, since 1986 this place is suffering damnation. An old aged couple was murdered by their yoga teacher and dead bodies were later discovered from a water tank. In the night, neighbours are haunted by an uncanny fear of eyes watching them all the time. ndeed, it was said that inside a house, a couple's soul wanders. Not only this, people had complained of getting awkward noise from inside this night. In Greater Kailash 1, in 1986, an elderly couple Yad Krishna Kaul and Madhu Kaul were killed in connection with the property dispute in House No.W-3. After this he was buried in the underground water tank.Since then, this house was devastated.
 
Due to the desolation, people passing through it started calling for the name of a ghosta house. It was said that the spirit of the elderly couple wanders inside this house. Not only this, people used to complain about the strange noise coming from within it. However, in 2013, someone has bought and renovated this house. Those people often come here and live.
One more such house out of the many haunted places in Delhi that came into notice is a Janak Puri based unclaimed house. It is still not clear if such stories have been cooked up or there is any reality in them. Those staying nearby this house often claimed that they would often hear various types of sounds that could be sobs or screams to frighten onlookers.
Good number of masses also claimed that they had even felt the presence of shadows in a house which had no masters. Such frightening scene has made this house one of the haunted places in the city.
